In Real Estate, the party acquiring a property is obligated to discover as much about it as possible. Surveys, Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments, and the evaluation of deferred maintenance items are all important aspects of a real estate transaction.
We can lead the pre-qualification and selection of surveyors, architects, engineers and consultants to ensure alignment with our client’s vision and needs.

We know great GCs in the markets we operate. We can assist with identifying the right ones for your project, issuing RFPs and evaluating their proposals to ensure alignment and assist with the selection of the best fit.
FPA can provide a detailed analysis of the design and construction plans to identify potential issues, conflicts, and inefficiencies and opportunities before building starts, ensuring the project is practical and can be built efficiently, saving time and money and avoiding change orders and/or errors during construction.
FPA Build Advisory can assist in choosing partners for furniture, audiovisual, security and other needs that the project.
We can review furniture layouts to ensure Owner’s needs are met, lead tours of manufacturers showrooms, prepare an evaluation matrix for Owner’s review of the offerings, prepare Request for Proposals for bidding of the furniture scope of work, assist the Owner for final selection, review the final specifications provided by the dealer, provide furniture installation coordination, and provide a punch list indicating items that the manufacturer is required to correct.
As the owner's advocate during construction, we provide oversight for budget, schedule, and quality, managing communication between all parties (architects, engineers, contractors).
This is more than just visiting the site. We attend Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and deliver independent updates on schedule, quality and work in place. We proactively resolve issues, assist in mitigating risks, ensuring compliance, and managing change orders to keep the project aligned with your vision and goals.
RFI's can be about a simple issue to respond or a complex issue that needs teamwork and creativity to resolve. We are there to communicate, engage, and ensure issues are resolved effecting with the best interest of the owner in first sight.
As the project nears completion, FPA Build Advisory oversees the close-out process, performing final inspections, ensuring as-built documentation accurately represents the build conditions, help resolve outstanding issues, and ensuring a smooth handover to operation teams.
